The 76th Cannes Film Festival has been launched for a few days, and already the memorable shots are connected. But beyond the glamour, there is humor and sometimes even love. 

Cannes, the festival, & all the pressure... Four days already! And shots that have gone around the world, such as the rise of  steps event of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny led by a dashing Harrison Ford . But beyond the glamor of the red carpet, there is also humor and sometimes even love. Yes Yes. Like these eleven moments captured on the Croisette by photographers since the opening of the fortnight on May 16th.

From his arrival on the steps to his speech receiving a surprise Palme d'Or d'Honneur, handling the standing ovation at the end of the screening which tore a few tears from him, Harrison Ford's visit to Cannes will have delivered a few moments and memorable images... But we really like this shot of the actor, 80, giving a memorable "hug" to the young Ethann Isidore . Barely 16 years old, the French actor, revealed by a few small roles in Sam or Mortel, has obviously found in this immense star a legendary and protective mentor. And his joy to be at his side, on the Croisette, for the last of "Indy", was contagious.

She is also flabagasted in this shot of the President of the Jury Ruben Ostlünd and his eight jurors, who are about to climb the steps for the first time on opening night. A happy Brie Larson , Julia Ducournau and Denis Ménochet with all smiles, and their Cannes colleagues in tune: these twelve days of festival will be a priority as well as  experienced in a beautiful friendly and passionate atmosphere... It promises an inevitably unexpected prize list.

Here is another unclassifiable President of the Jury. Responsible for judging the " A Certain Regard selection alongside Paula Beer , Davy Chou , Émilie Dequenne and Alice Winocour , American comedian John C. Reilly who never travels without his traditional headgear. We use to greet Cannes photographers with class and kindness.

She was "born" in Cannes 10 years ago, with the Palme d'Or for La Vie d'Adèle . Having since become an essential face of French cinema and a regular on the Cannes red carpet, Adèle Exarchopoulos should be present throughout the fortnight with Le Règne Animalia at the opening of A Certain Regard yesterday and the closing film of the Festival on May 27, Elementary , in which she lends her voice to the fiery heroine of Pixar studios. The actress could therefore give us photos as nice as this “fish kiss” from the top of the steps.

These two young actresses, Lomane de Dietrich and Suzy Bemba , are screen partners in the film Le Retour by Catherine Corsini , selected the Competition despite the controversy surrounding its production.

On the steps, she poses, and sends love ! At least for fun, like Ethan Hawke and the team of Strange Way of Life , Pedro Almodovar 's queer western short film unveiled at the start of the festival. Half cowboy, half rock star, the actor ignited the rise of the steps.

While some play with the photographers, others display their abnegation to attend the high mass in Cannes. Like the Cambodian actress Yubin Shin, who tackled the 24 steps of the Palais des Festivals despite her injury. On crutches but in an evening dress (and not the easiest to wear!), glamor until the end of the effort.

This is Michael Douglas , guest of honor at the opening ceremony where he received a Palme d'Or d'Honneur. Before this tribute, the actor-producer played  with the photographers, offering Cannes' posterity this beautiful cinematography frame cameraman.

We saw him joyfully climbing the steps and in the Grand Théâtre Lumière. We also thought he was a bit grumpy and not necessarily inclined to play the promo game. However, Harrison Ford put on a show during the film's photocall, notably pretending to drop his Palme d'Or d'Honneur, undoubtedly the greatest prize awarded to him to date (even more precious than the 'Ark of the Covenant or the Holy Grail). Faced with this cliché, we said yes, Indy!
